Turning the training into graduate credit
University of Massachusetts Global is the university behind the credit, and it is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC). A teacher who signs up can earn up to four graduate-level semester credits per seminar, though nobody is required to.
The training cost does not include credit. Teachers who want it pick up a registration form at the end of the training and pay the credit fee directly to UMass Global.
Teachers complete the credit with a follow-up practicum in their own classroom. The window is six months from the training, and credit is awarded when the practicum is finished. Send credit questions to Samuel Hernandez at samuel@cveducationalservicesinc.com.
